What We Can’t Help With

What We Can’t Help With

NHS Talking Therapies does not provide therapy for every type of mental health problem.

Anxiety and low mood are often part of other mental health problems. NHS Talking Therapies may not be the right service, even if anxiety and low mood are problems for you.

To make sure that therapy has the best chance of being safe and effective for you, we need to make sure the therapy we offer is a good fit for the type of problem you have.

If we can’t offer you therapy, we’ll do our best to provide useful information, advice, or self-help resources. If you need more specialist help, we will refer you to an appropriate local service where one is available.
