  • Learn a range of techniques that enable you to manage your wellbeing more effectively

  • Week 2: Focusing on Emotions
  • Week 3: Conflicting Parts of Self
  • Week 4: Problem solving

The Getting Started with Overcoming Trauma Workshop will present you with information and practical techniques to better understand and manage your symptoms caused by trauma.
The following topics are covered:

  • Week 1 – What is PTSD , The Fight and Flight response , Understanding triggers and Grounding techniques
  • Week 2 –  BreathingTechniques , Impact of posture and Relaxation Exercises
  • Week 3 –  Window of tolerance , Self-Soothing kit and Stress Relieving techniques
  • Week 4 –  The 3 Systems of Emotional Regulation

The Breathing Space group aims to support you with managing your anxiety. It will inform you about what anxiety is, what you can expect in terms of symptoms and teaches you practical and actionable coping strategies to manage your anxiety in a different way. The following topics are discussed in the 6 weeks of the course:

  • Week 1 – What is anxiety/worry? Introduction to how CBT can help. Types of worry
  • Week 2 – Relaxation and improving sleep
  • Week 3 – Attention training and worry postponement
  • Week 4 – Problem-solving and stress management
  • Week 5 – Thought challenging
  • Week 6 – Staying well

The Mood Matters group aims to support you with managing your mood. It will inform you about what depression is, what you can expect in terms of symptoms and teaches you practical and actionable coping strategies to manage your mood in a different way.   • Week 2 – Activity and Depression
  • Week 3 – Problem solving
  • Week 4 – Negative thoughts and how to challenge them
